Talents and Transformations

Last Sunday was excellent. It was a blessing to have Meadowood Country sing. Tom Poe, our recently retired minister of music, is a member of that group, and it was good to have him and his wife, Anne, worship with us.
The congregation was thrilled when all the guitar players joined in the song, "I'll Fly Away". People of all ages were involved in this song playing their guitars and other instruments.
I was told this was put on Facebook and there were hundreds of hits with people expressing how much they liked it. These hits came from all over the country. How exciting!
The best part of the service was baptizing Kami Crume. She is a great young lady who accepted Jesus last summer.
It was also a privilege to present Regina Bagby for church membership. She was not only joining our church family she was, as well, recommitting her life to Christ.
What a glorious day we shared on Sunday!
This Sunday, April 7th, we are in for a treat again as Darla Morgan will be involved in the music portion of our service. Darla has sung at Branson. She is a regular at Oklahoma Opry. She is a servant of the Lord Jesus who uses her talents to honor Him.
I hope you will invite people to attend the service with you.
This is a wonderful time of the year to extend invitations to people to attend church.
Easter is approaching, April 14th is Palm Sunday. April 19th we have our Good Friday service at 7:00pm. Then on April 21st we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus on Easter!
The Bible says the hope of the world is Jesus Christ and Him alone. I hope you will bring a friend and pray for them. You never know who might be saved by sharing in one of these services.
