Fifth Sunday Hymn Sing

When the church sings, we boldly proclaim our faith. While we worship, we remind one another of who He is, what He has done, and all He has promised. Though musical tastes and worship styles have changed throughout Christian history, the ultimate goal of worship has remained the same—to exalt Christ and boldly communicate our faith.

For centuries, hymns have held a key role within the church and served as the primary avenue for musical worship. Even today hymns offer us a fresh opportunity to deepen our understanding and our expression of core truths of the faith through song.

On the fifth Sunday of any month, Meadowood Baptist will host a traditional “hymn sing”—a special evening of worship as we gather together to sing the favorites of yesteryear. We invite you to lend your voice as we fill the Worship Center to encourage one another through the songs many in the church grew up singing and know well.

Our first opportunity to do so is September 29, 2024!
