FOCUS Classes (4:00pm)

February 2, 2020

4:00pm – 5:00pm

Category: Focus Classes

Special Note: Meadowood's Spring 2019 FOCUS Classes will begin at 4:00pm on February 3.

FOCUS classes offer the Meadowood family and guests an opportunity to dig deeper each week as we study the Bible together and discuss various topics of interest to the Christian life. These subjects will change from semester to semester, but we're sure you'll be able to find a class that interests you and assists you in your walk. The hour-long classes meet each Sunday night throughout the schoolyear.

Spring 2019 Classes:

Meadowood Identity

Sunday School teachers, Deacons and leaders of Meadowood program areas are encouraged to be part of this important class that will walk through the process of helping the church position itself to reach the community God has placed us in. We'll discuss our focus, our purpose and our image as we continue to emphasize our plans to promote the church locally. Led by Pastor Bob Rutherford and Jay Ramer.

Apologetics

The world can be indifferent to or even opposed to Christian truth, and followers of Christ must be better equipped to communicate the timeless truths of the Christian faith. But how can you have a conversation with someone who is intent on proving you wrong and who won't accept the Bible as a source of authority? Find helpful answers, direction and fellowship with Darryl Snow and others as you work through this study written by Gregory Koukl. Led by Darryl Snow.

The Book of Philippians

Paul's epistles may be relatively short reads, but even the smallest of them are packed with important truths that will equip believers to live triumphantly today. This class will survey Philippians under the skilled teaching of Fred Jones.

No Other Gods

Join with ladies from across Meadowood as they gather for in depth study and fellowship that will transform your walk with Jesus and build authentic relationships with women who have walked the paths your traveling or are companions on your journey. This semester, ladies will dive into Kelly Minter's study No Other GodsLed by Debbie Epling. (Please you may choose to purchase study materials, but it is not required.)

If you have any questions about these classes, please contact Jay Ramer.

Remember: On February 3, FOCUS Classes will begin at 4:00pm.
