Falls Creek 2021

The coronavirus pandemic may have canceled a number of fun events in 2020, but it's 2021, and Falls Creek is back! Meadowood Youth will be making its annual trip to the best summer camp on the planet from June 21-25! 

This summer we will explore the character and nature of God by looking into His GLORY.

“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgements, and His paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay Him? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.”

We will explore who God is and how we should respond to Him as a result. Our daily teaching points center on God as:

DEEP: God is unsearchable. We could never explore the extent of the richness of his character. 

SUFFICIENT: God needs nothing from man. Because He is complete, we can rely on Him.

DESERVING: God is worthy of all we have to give in living and in serving. 

ETERNAL: God is from forever past to forever future. We live faithfully because of our hope in the “was and is and is to come.”

If you have/know  Mid-Del kids who have finished 6th grade through recent high school graduates, they are welcome to spend a week at The Creek with Meadowood's contingent!

There is a cost for housing, food, transportation and materials, but please don't let that stop you from participating. Scholarships will be available to assist those in need.

NOT A YOUTH? YOU CAN STILL PLAY A PART!

Adult sponsors are important to keeping our youth safe and in providing mentors and guides throughout the week and after. If you are interested in spending the week as an adult sponsor, you'll definitely want to connect with Kent.

Meadowood's Falls Creek experience is widely known for the tremendous meals they prepare throughout the week thanks to Linda Curry and her team of kitchen collaborators. But, they need Meadowood's help to pull it off.

That's why signup sheets have been distributed to each Meadowood Community Group. Please consider signing up to donate items listed for your group. If you don't have a Community Group, let us know and we'll help you discover the one that's right for you!
