Women of the Word, with the support of Meadowood Men's Ministry, is hosting a free fundraising dinner on behalf of one of Meadowood's missionaries, who will visit us June 3 to share stories of her ministry in Thailand.

Celeste McGee has served in Thailand for a number of years as part of a ministry called Dton Naam, a name which signifies the source of a stream where the freshest, purest water can be found. It is not an easy task, but God has burdened her team to share the gospel in some of the darkest environments in Bangkok.

Watch this video introduction to Dton Naam:

This is a story about rescue, about redemption, about a King who calls us to go into all the world—even the difficult places—to shine His light and share His story.

Wouldn't you like to be part of that?

"They're all humans. They're all valuable." — Celeste McGee

Join us Monday, June 3, at 6:30pm in our Fellowship Hall as we share a meal, hear heartbreaking and glorious stories and commit ourselves to help in tangible ways, even if we cannot physically go to Thailand.

Everyone is invited to attend. All you need is a ticket (it's FREE!) so we can best plan for our dinner.

RSVP by Tuesday, May 28th.

Please note this is a fundraising dinner to assist Celeste with medical expenses following a traffic accident in Thailand as well as helping to support the ongoing ministry to the male prostitutes and "ladyboys" of Thailand.
