Building Up
Dear Meadowood Family,
I so appreciate your patience, encouragement, and faithfulness during this time when our Worship Center is not usable. I want to share with you what has been transpiring so far in our efforts to repair the damages the Worship Center sustained.
The roof has been repaired and paid for.
We have met with two pew companies. We will be using a company named Sauder. They do business all over the nation. They have been in business for years. They are highly reputable and recommended.
Several churches in our area have worked with Sauder, including Quail Springs Baptist, Southern Hills Baptist, and First Southern Baptist Church.
We have a committee that is working on color and fabric for the pews plus they will be working with the architect on any changes made in the Worship Center as it is repaired.
Serving on this committee are Bev Young, Nancy Rice, Whitney Eaton, and Allan Storjohann. They will do a great job.
Our architect, Mark Gandy and his team are working on creating a model regarding the design features that they are proposing for the remodel of the building.
They should have the model complete in about 10 to 14 days.
Clark Construction is the construction company that will be used in doing the repair work. Allan and Debbie Clark have been extremely loyal in supporting the Lord's ministries at Meadowood. Allan and his company do outstanding work.
Finally, we are talking with reputable sound companies that can provide for us the best sound that we can afford.
As you can see—though you may not have physically seen progress—we have been very busy and are doing the best we can to have this project completed in the best way possible in the fastest time possible.
Again I am thankful for your patience and solicit your prayers that the Lord will lead us to make the Worship Center all that He desires it to be.
In the meantime, I am grateful to the Lord Jesus for the way He is using our time in Fellowship Hall. We have had at times over 500 in attendance for worship. Plus, some of our members are meeting other members that they never knew as they are sitting in different places by different people.
Romans 8:28 teaches that the Lord will work all things for good to those who love Him.
Praise His Name, I see that happening at Meadowood.
Blessings,
Bob
