December Calendar Update, Part 2

Dear Meadowood Family,

The month of December is passing too fast. It is a wonderful time of the year. I wish time would slow down so we could enjoy it more.

Nevertheless, we have many important events forthcoming.

This Wednesday, December 15th at 6:00pm we will have a Family Christmas Party for children and their families. We will also have Wednesday Night Meal at 5:00pm and Prayer Service and Bible Study at 6:00pm.

December 19th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm we will have a silent Lord's Supper. Families, or a collection of friends can come together. You can come anytime you choose. There will be devotional material that you can take a few moments to read, then have a prayer time. Following this we ask that you go to one of the designated places in the Worship Center where deacons will serve you the Lord's Supper.

We pray that Sunday evening will be a special observance remembering the Lord's death.

On Friday, December 24th we will have our Christmas Eve Service. Fellowship Hall will be open from 5:00pm to 5:45pm. We will have hot chocolate and cookies. It gives us an opportunity to visit with one another before the service. We need to be in the Worship Center a little before 6:00pm.

A great service of celebrating the Lord Jesus will begin at 6:00pm.

I hope you will invite your family, friends, co-workers, and friends from school to attend with you.

On Sunday, December 26th, we will have only our Worship Service at 9:30am. There will be no Community Groups.

I am grateful to the many workers who served tirelessly to make the Toy Store so beneficial to numbers of families. 340 children will receive gifts this Christmas because of the efforts of those who worked and those who gave. God Bless You for this vital ministry you have provided.

Linda and I wish each of you a Merry Christmas. We are blessed of the Lord to get to serve with you!

Bob
